An established industry player is looking for a vibrant and motivated educator to join their well-resourced centre. In this role, you will support child-led play, mentor parents and whānau, and facilitate learning experiences for tamariki. We’re seeking a vibrant, motivated, creative, and passionate educator with a sparkling personality to join our well-resourced centre to support our tamariki, parents, and whānau in facilitating child-led play.
You will work alongside our Centre whānau to open the sessions and guide activities, facilitate learning for our members and tamariki while role modeling child-led play and positive guidance.
To support whānau in the use of Te Reo Māori, encourage participation in the Playcentre Education programme to increase qualification levels at our centre, and demonstrate the benefits of participating to whānau.
Let your inner author shine writing learning stories highlighting tamariki achievements, developments, learning, and wonders while supporting whānau with exploring their light bulb moments.
We are all about mentoring and supporting parents/whānau/members/tamariki as they explore and learn with their children during these very special years.
Start: 28 April 2025
Days & hours: Monday from 9.15am to 1.15pm. This is a permanent position during school term time only.
