A vibrant and motivated educator is sought for a permanent part-time role at Rangiora Playcentre, facilitating child-led play and supporting tamariki, parents, and whānau. The ideal candidate must hold relevant early childhood qualifications and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and empower families while participating in a rich educational philosophy.

We’re seeking a vibrant, motivated, creative, and passionate educator with a sparkling personality to join our well-resourced centreto support our tamariki, parents and whānau in facilitating child-led play.
You will work alongside ourcentre whānauto open the sessions and guide activities, facilitate learning for our members and tamariki while role modelling child-led play and positive guidance.
The successful candidate will support whānau in the use of te reo Māori,encourage participation in the Playcentre Education programme to increase qualification levels at our centre, and demonstrate the benefits of participating to whānau.
We are all about mentoring and supporting parents/whānau/members/tamariki as they explore and learn with their children during these very special years.
Start date: 18 July 2025
Days & hours:
Friday 9am to 1pm. This is a permanent position during term time only.
