Services Manager – Care at Home

Location: East Dunbarton, Falkirk & South Lanarkshire
Salary: £29,741 – £32,003 per annum
Contract Type: 35 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

This role aligns with the salary scales and job profiles of Crossroads Caring Scotland, which has recently become part of Enable!

We are looking for a motivated and driven Services Manager to join us in ensuring they have the same opportunities as everyone else.

You must have the passion and drive to take a lead role in continuing to improve the quality of the services we provide to the people we support and to effectively guide local Service Co-Ordinators to manage our frontline staff.

This role is pivotal to the success of our mission and aim to assist Adults and Children with support needs to live the lives of their choosing; lives that are full, meaningful and inclusive.

A successful Services Manager will manage their teams to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with the family and Social Care experts involved in the lives of the people we support.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and require a Services Manager to lead our Central Services to deliver high quality services, which covers the Central area.

The post holder will be based in our Glasgow office. A commitment to continuous improvement of service delivery is essential as is the ability to build positive working relationships with funders and other partners.

Working closely with the Area Manager, the Services Manager will be responsible for identifying the needs of carers and developing initiatives to meet these needs.

About You

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have significant experience of leading and managing Supported Living Services and Care at Home
  • Have significant experience of managing teams with knowledge of culture change
  • A commitment to the inclusion of people with support needs
  • An in-depth understanding of the Self-Directed Support Act and its principles
  • SVQ level 4 or the ability to work towards the relevant qualification required for your SSSC registration
  • SVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 is essential
  • A clear understanding of the need to build and sustain partnerships with stakeholders, commissioners and other third sector providers
  • The ability to lead our business strategy at a local level whilst promoting Enable with an emphasis on growing our business
  • Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use
