Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking a team-focused colleague to assist customers across checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks and petrol stations in a dynamic store environment. You will also help with On-demand order pickups and Click & Collect, while learning products, services, and promotions to offer confident recommendations.

This role emphasizes flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting with strong teamwork and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Serve and support customers at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, and petrol stations; assist with questions.
• Assist customers with On-demand grocery ordering and Click & Collect parcels.
• Build knowledge of products, services, and promotions to offer recommendations.
• Handle complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
• Safely move and retrieve trolleys in customer car parks.
• Work flexibly across the store as needed.

Job responsibilities

• Always being on hand to serve and support customers on our checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks or even our petrol stations, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help


• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On-demand grocery ordering service and assisting customers with Click & Collect parcels.


• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations


• Dealing with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising


• Safely moving and retrieving trolleys in our customer car parks


• Working flexibly across the store as needed
