ServiceNow Tester 6 Month Contract Location: Cheshire - Hybrid working 2-3 days a week onsite Inside IR35
As the Test Analyst, you will be responsible for all aspects of the ServiceNow ITSM solution and own all test activity.
This role will work with the organisation, ITSM journey owners, process owners, and various ITSM teams to support testing of the ServiceNow environment.
Key responsibilities in the role include:
Executing plans for test phases based on the overall project plan to accommodate all tasks involved
Identify and highlight discrepancies in specifications
Understand dependencies between changes within individual releases
Identify and communicate risks with project/test approach
Create risk and query logs
Create test cases/scripts/charters/data sheets/sample data
Set up and execute tests and record evidence
Raise defects with appropriate details
Report results/outcome of testing to project audience
Support the introduction of automation testing into the programme
Conform to established good practice and any appropriate test automation standards
Define test scenarios and create test scripts
Stakeholder management and leadership
Internal customer stakeholders
Essential Skills:
Working experience in ServiceNow portal
Experience of creating and executing test plans in line with programme delivery plans
Experience of testing across multiple business processes (UAT/SIT/technical etc.)
Experience of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from all relevant areas
Demonstrate a good end-to-end understanding of the application of technology to process
Desirable Skills:
Working experience in ServiceNow ITSM
Working experience of technologies such as JIRA
Working experience of test technology
Exposure to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Agile methodology
Testing concepts (e.g., Black Box testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing etc.)
