We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our client's ServiceNow Team. This role reports to the ServiceNow Platform Manager and will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow product suite, with a particular focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules–IRM, BCM, and TPRM.

This is a pivotal position responsible not only for the technical management and development of the platform, but also for ensuring the operational excellence, governance, and quality of service delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the SME for the full ServiceNow product set, responsible for its development, operational delivery, and alignment with governance and policy standards.
  2. Lead the day-to-day technical management of the ServiceNow platform with specific expertise in GRC (IRM, BCM, TPRM).
  3. Translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice ServiceNow technical solutions, with a focus on automation and integration.
  4. Triage and estimate enhancements and incoming requests, ensuring alignment to out-of-the-box best practices and maintaining a high Health Scan score.
  5. Provide technical governance and approval for submitted changes, ensuring adherence to platform standards and security policies.
  6. Oversee the preparation, testing, and implementation of platform upgrades.
  7. Collaborate with process owners to ensure seamless implementation of automation and integration solutions.
  8. Identify opportunities for platform optimization, leveraging new features and enhancements from ServiceNow releases to deliver measurable business benefits.
  9. Proactively seek enhancements across the broader product ecosystem that improve cost-efficiency, simplify processes, or streamline operations.
  10. Lead the design and development of complex, business-critical ServiceNow solutions.

Skills required:

  1. Proven experience in implementing and supporting ServiceNow GRC modules (IRM, BCM, TPRM).
  2. Experience in platform administration and upgrade processes in a regulated enterprise environment.
  3. Strong governance mindset with familiarity in audit and IT security requirements.
  4. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  5. Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance) are a strong plus.
  6. Experience within the banking domain would be highly desirable.
