Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join their dynamic team in Leeds. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong understanding of ITSM, PA, and integration processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scripting with JavaScript and Glide, as well as familiarity with AWS services and DevOps practices. Qualifications

Job description

Must Have Skills:

  1. Able to commute to the central Leeds office.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role involving service operations tooling.
  3. Extensive experience & understanding of ServiceNow development, including Scripting (JavaScript, Glide).
  4. Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules & processes underpinning; ITSM, PA, CSDM, CMDB, Employee Centre & Integration Hub (REST & SOAP web services & API integrations).
  5. Familiarity with AWS services related to service operations, such as AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, and Step Functions.
  6. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
  8. Good understanding of ServiceNow out of the box architecture.
  9. Good understanding of other platforms such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
  10. Proven experience in developing & implementing innovative solutions on (but not limited to), the ServiceNow platform, driving thought leadership.
  11. Effective communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, potentially across multiple customer environments.

Preferred Skills:

  1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  2. ITIL v4 qualified.
  3. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies & tools.
  4. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or other relevant certifications.
  5. Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions to enhance service operations capabilities.
