Overview

I am recruiting for a ServiceNow Developer to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days in London, 3 days remote. The role falls inside IR35, so you will be required to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Note: Candidates MUST have recently worked in Central Government.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of enterprise workflows and data-driven decisions.
• Work with the ServiceNow platform including modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
• Develop ServiceNow scripting components: Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations, building and consuming APIs for third-party systems.
• Work with ServiceNow workflows: Flow Designer, Legacy Workflow Editor, and Service Portal development (custom widgets, pages, and themes).
• Proficient in JavaScript as the core scripting language used in ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience with the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting: Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
