ServiceNow Developer (ITSM/ITOM Specialist)

Duration: 6 months

Location: Remote

Contract Type: Inside IR35 - Umbrella only

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly technical ServiceNow Developer with in-depth expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform, optimizing IT processes and ensuring seamless service delivery in complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. ServiceNow Development: Customize and configure ITSM and ITOM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request Management, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.
  2. Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, and integrations to support ITSM/ITOM functionalities.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow implementations with organizational goals.
  4. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform and related integrations.
  5. Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides for configurations, workflows, and processes.
  6. Platform Maintenance: Stay updated with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and new features to maintain system reliability and performance.

Required Skills:
  1. Extensive experience (3-5+ years) in ServiceNow development, including ITSM and ITOM modules.
  2. Advanced knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.) and ITOM capabilities (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration).
  3. Strong understanding of integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, JSON) and system architecture.
