One of the largest Software and Managed Service Providers is expanding their ServiceNow function and they are looking to bring on a ServiceNow Solutions Architect and Developer to the team. Their vision is to become a certified ServiceNow Partner in the near future, so this is a really exciting time to join the business where you'll be able to make a significant impact on the organization and contribute to their roadmap strategy.

This role requires strong expertise with the ITSM and ITOM modules, as well as an understanding of PPM. You will have technical design authority of the platform and team leader responsibilities over the Developers (currently 6, with plans to increase).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow applications, especially within ITSM and PPM.
  2. Customize ServiceNow configurations, including scripting and automation.
  3. Design, implement, and enhance ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Asset, Configuration, Change, SLM, and Service Catalog. Provide high-level design and specifications for ServiceNow implementations.
  4. Conduct system and integration testing to ensure optimal functionality.
  5. Define application and data architecture roadmaps for major business and functional areas.
  6. Lead architecture governance processes and communicate architectural strategies effectively.
  7. Develop, validate, and present business cases for new initiatives and technical solutions.
  8. Utilize Agile methodologies and maintain a strong understanding of business practices, processes, and tools.
  9. Collaborate with executive stakeholders to deliver ServiceNow solutions aligned with key business goals.
  10. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
  11. Evaluate and implement new platform features from ServiceNow updates, assessing their applicability to the current environment.
  12. Lead integration development, including web services (SOAP/REST), DBC, and Mid Server.
  13. Ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting technical specifications and design requirements.
  14. Share best practices and provide consultative support throughout the technical design process.
  15. Continuously update your ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and training resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.
  2. Proficiency in ServiceNow core applications, UI, workflow configuration, report development, and integration components.
  3. Expert-level understanding of client-side and server-side scripting, including business rules, script actions, and script includes.
  4. Deep expertise in multiple technical domains.
  5. Proven ability to drive complex technical solutions involving both legacy and emerging technologies at an enterprise level.
  6. Expertise in client and server APIs.
  7. Experience with integration across cloud-based and legacy platforms (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Remedy).
  8. ServiceNow certifications are preferred.
