Job Description:

Roc Technologies is seeking an experienced, driven, and commercially minded leader to join our Leadership Team as Service Transition Manager.

This role involves leading the design and transition of new and evolved Managed Services, working closely with Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery teams. You will develop and implement Roc’s Managed Service and Transition Framework to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has deep ITIL knowledge and extensive experience in transitioning services into operational environments, with a focus on structure, governance, and delivering results aligned with customer and commercial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and govern Roc’s Managed Service and Transition Framework, including documentation standards and operational templates.
• Collaborate with Sales and Service Architects on service designs and cost models.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate service design risks.
• Lead end-to-end transition of managed services, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Build scalable, repeatable processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Ensure smooth handover to the Customer Success Team with operational readiness.
• Develop Operational Service Manuals for long-term contracts.
• Report on transition KPIs and metrics to senior leadership.
• Model Roc’s values, culture, and commitment to service excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in service management or transition roles.
• Strong ITIL foundation with relevant certifications.
• Proven success in service transitions within complex environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC or DV).
• Background in networking, cloud, or MSP environments.
• Experience with P&L management or sales activities.
