Job summary

Eden Tyres is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join as a relief technician covering Derbyshire and Midlands sites. You’ll diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles, replace parts and ensure roadworthiness, while upholding top workmanship and customer service standards.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in vehicle maintenance; MOT tester qualification is a definite advantage. The role involves flexible, versatile site work with good communication to customers.

• Fully qualified MOT tester is an advantage.

About the Role:

Eden Tyres & Servicing is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team as a relief technician, covering our Derbyshire areas of the Midlands. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working across different sites and is flexible and versatile in their approach.

You’ll be confident in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. If you’re also a fully qualified MOT tester, that’s a definite advantage.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults


• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs


• Replace parts and ensure vehicles are roadworthy


• Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer service


• Provide professional, honest advice to customers

You will take pride in your work, communicate confidently and courteously with staff and customers, and effectively manage your time to meet workshop deadlines. Going the extra mile to complete a job will be second nature.
