Your new role

At Sofology, we are dedicated to helping our customers feel at home. As a Service Technician, you will visit customers in their homes to repair and maintain sofas, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

A day in the life of

  • Carry out upholstery repairs, adjustments, and maintenance in customer homes, stores, and Customer Distribution Centres, ensuring quality standards.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, keeping them informed and involved.
  • Inspect furniture for damage or wear and determine the best repair solutions.
  • Repair or replace upholstery components using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Keep detailed records of work, parts used, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure repairs meet Sofology standards and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with customer care teams to source parts and educate customers on sofa care.

In an ideal world

You will have technical skills and excellent customer service abilities. We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about quality and detail
  • Confident working in customers' homes
  • Skilled with tools like staplers, cutters, and sewing equipment
  • Experienced in fabric and leather repairs, internal components, and framing
  • Capable of lifting and moving furniture safely
  • A team player with a positive attitude

Experience in upholstery or furniture repair is preferred, but passion and hands-on talent are equally valued.
