Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Service Technician provides exceptional customer service and technical support, maintaining customer plant and equipment as per our maintenance and service contracts. The role aims to maximize technician productivity, enhance customer experience, and improve operational processes. Candidates are sought to cover Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose system problems during service visits and projects.
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), handle breakdowns, warranty work, hire, and commissioning tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Generate reports on work completed and invoiced.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and communication.
Internal Controls and Administration:
  • Proven experience as a service or field technician.
  • Strong customer service principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team motivation abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office.
Skills and Capabilities:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and positive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Relevant certificates, including F-Gas.
  • Availability for standby and call-outs, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • UK Driver's license; right to work in the UK.
