Job summary

Lakaz Maurice in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a well-established main dealer group at a newly refurbished site. The role includes opportunities to work towards obtaining an MOT licence and ongoing training and development.

The successful candidate will service, maintain and repair vehicles, diagnose faults, perform health checks, and complete documentation to high standards within a busy workshop team.

Qualifications

• Experienced service technician with automotive background.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Experience with manufacturer standards and workshop processes.

If so, we are working with a well-established main dealer group with a newly refurbished site in Portsmouth, who are looking to expand their experienced workshop team.

The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing training and development, including the opportunity to work towards obtaining an MOT licence, should this be of interest.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and recommend any additional repairs required.
• Accurately complete workshop documentation whilst maintaining excellent quality standards.
• Work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Package:

£30,000 - £38,000 Basic – Experience Dependent.

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 17.30pm

Saturday on a rota basis 1 in 48.30am - 12.30pm
