Service Technician - Mercedes Benz of Blackburn

Salary: £35,548 Basic plus uncapped OTE based on individual performance, team profit, and CSI Bonus

Hours: 45-hour working week with weekends on a rota basis

The Role

Join our team as a skilled Service Technician supporting Mercedes Benz in our state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training will be provided, so previous brand experience is not required. Continuous training ensures you stay updated with the latest technology.

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work efficiently
  • A team player comfortable following set processes and procedures
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with industry-recognized certification (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered; IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Ability to carry out MOTs is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Motivated, organized, with a focus on Health & Safety
  • Tech-savvy and confident with iPad software
Responsibilities
  • Perform servicing and maintenance on all vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, including warranty work
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Complete job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms
  • Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
  • Support Apprentice Technicians as needed
