Job summary

D. M. Keith is seeking a Service Technician for our Kia Leeds site. You will diagnose and repair mechanical faults to manufacturer standards while working in a busy franchised dealer environment.

We welcome NVQ Level 3 trained technicians and value MOT experience; own tools and full UK driving licence are required. A market-leading salary and bonus scheme awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is welcomed.
• Experience in a franchised dealer or busy independent garage is advantageous.
• MOT Tester certification preferred.
• High Voltage certification is desirable.

We are currently looking for a Service Technician to come and join our Kia Leeds site.

About You

Your duties will depend upon your experience and training but as a skilled Technician/Mechanic, you will be able to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults (including engine repairs) and return vehicles back to manufacturer specification and standards.

We are welcoming applications from Technicians who are NVQ level 3 trained or equivalent. Experience working within a busy volume franchised dealer environment is an advantage but not crucial if you currently work at an independent garage/dealer.

What Will You Need To Succeed In The Role

• Drive, passion and enthusiasm to succeed.
• Demonstrate capability and confidence in using equipment within the workshop safely.
• At least NVQ level 3 trained with work experience in a franchised dealer or independent garage.
• MOT Tester preferred.
• Experience in used car prep.
• High Voltage certification is desirable, but not expected.

Working Hours

4 day rolling shift pattern, 1 in 3 Saturdays.

You will require a Full UK drivers’ licence and have your own tools.
