Salary

£15.39 per hour. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Service Technician Responsible To: Fleet Engineer/Workshop Manager/Chargehand Fitter Main Purpose of Job: To maintain and repair the Company’s vehicles to a safe and roadworthy condition, employing such skills and knowledge as may be required with due regard to current employment and health and safety legislation. Responsibilities & Duties: Maintain a high standard of vehicle servicing for a brand new fleet at inverness depot. Record all work done and time taken on each job in the paperwork form required. To drive Company vehicles when necessary, providing the post holder has the necessary licence to do so. In addition to the foregoing the post holder will be expected to carry out any additional duties as directed by Supervisors/management which are deemed to be within the post holder’s capabilities. Location: Inverness Depot

We’ll need you to
  • Have some form of vehicle engineering background, we’re not picky though this could be in bus, truck, rail, farm or automotive – if it moves, it’s good experience.
  • Be passionate about what you do and want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repairs.
