Service Technician – Hands-On Role with Travel

Salary:$80,000 – $95,000 annually (based on experience)

RemX is hiring aFactory Service Technicianon behalf of our client, a global leader in commercial bakery equipment. From small family-owned bakeries to food chains, our client’s roll-in rack ovens, proofers, and vacuum cooling systems are shaping the future of baking.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s ahands-on, field-based roledesigned for people who thrive on solving problems, enjoy working directly with equipment, and aren’t afraid to travel.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Service Technician, you’ll be the face of the company—installing, repairing, and maintaining state-of-the-art bakery equipment across the U.S. and internationally. You’ll work both independently and in collaboration with internal teams and service partners.
Your day-to-day will include:
Traveling to customer sites to install bakery equipment according to engineering specs and safety standards.
Performing on-site preventive maintenance and repairs.
Providing hands-on training to customers and service partners.
Troubleshooting issues, gathering field data, and working with engineering to solve root causes.
Occasionally supporting warranty reviews and service documentation.
What You Bring to the Table:
3+ years’ experience servicing commercial bakery or foodservice equipment.
Strong hands-on knowledge of gas-heated machinery and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
Self-starter mindset with excellent time management.
Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
Valid U.S. work authorization, driver’s license, and passport.
Willingness and flexibility to travel—often on short notice (up to 80%, including international travel).
Spanish fluency is a plus!
