Job summary

A recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Service Technician to join a fast-paced team. The successful candidate will maintain and repair a hire fleet, prepare equipment for hire, and support technical teams. Candidates should possess a full UK driving license, mechanical experience, and a permanent right to work in the UK. On-call support is part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Full, clean UK Driving License with the ability to tow trailers.
  • Permanent Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing the hire fleet and customer-owned generators.
  • Perform all types of service and repairs.
  • Preparing equipment for hire, including load testing.
  • Supporting both technical and office teams as required.
  • Ensure work areas are kept tidy, clean, and organized.
  • Delivery and collections of equipment as required.
  • Taking part in the on-call rota, providing support 24/7.

Job description

Due to an increase in investment and company expansion, we are looking for a Service Technician to join a fast-paced team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the servicing, maintenance, repair, and testing of our extensive hire fleet. Working from our client’s sites, you'll ensure their equipment remains at the high standard their customers expect. You will also be involved in any on-site service and maintenance as and when required. This will all be dependent on job locations, throughout Aberdeen and Shire as well as further afield.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

  • Permanent Right to Work in the UK.
