Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Service Technician / Mechanic for a busy automotive service centre in Halesowen. The role requires a recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Salary £30,000–£33,000 with a £3,600 bonus and OTE £33,600–£36,600, with full-time contracted hours. Responsibilities include servicing, diagnosing faults, repairing tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension, and

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Complete mechanical and fast-fit repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and vehicle faults.
• Repair and replace tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
• Carry out MOT-related repair work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.
