Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Technician in Bridgnorth. You will perform servicing, routine maintenance and diagnostics on a range of vehicles, ensuring high safety and workmanship standards.

Permanent, full-time role with day hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-13:00pm on rota. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 automotive qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, hold a Full UK Driving Licence, and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Complete mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Replace and repair tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
• Diagnose mechanical and vehicle faults.
• Complete MOT repair work where required.
• Carry out fast-fit work efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Bridgnorth. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 automotive qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have a Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Bridgnorth

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, plus Saturdays 8:30am–1:00pm subject to rota

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

• - Right to work in the UK

Advanced diagnostic experience and familiarity with newer vehicle technologies would be advantageous.
