Job description

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for our Cupra/Seat dealership in Leeds, you will be responsible for ensuring that all service, repair, and maintenance work is completed to exemplary standards on a diverse range of models across this market-leading brand.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately and skillfully undertake vehicle repairs and servicing, ensuring all work meets the required standards and completing necessary administrative tasks.
  • Ensure all repair work is completed to the highest standards within factory timescales.
  • Provide accurate reports on vehicle condition and repairs, explaining findings clearly to the Workshop Manager/Team Leader.
  • Evaluate vehicle condition and document any additional work required.
  • Explain technical repairs to customers in understandable language.
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate timely and accurate service and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with company, brand, and industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an accredited/qualified Vehicle Technician, Level 3 IMI light vehicle maintenance, or equivalent.
  • Brand accreditation is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided, and candidates from all brand backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • A customer-centric approach, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic, responsible, and organized with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Clear communication skills for advising customers on technical issues.
  • A valid driving license with no excessive penalties.
