Volkswagen Group UK is offering a Group 1 Volkswagen Southend Service Technician Apprenticeship. The programme provides a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician standard over 24–36 months with full-time employment and formal qualifications through extensive product training at a state-of-the-art training centre.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, hardworking individual sought for an apprenticeship.
• Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician standard.
• Apprenticeship combines training with full‑time employment.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Test parts and systems to ensure correct operation.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical vehicle parts.
• Carry out bumper‑to‑bumper service and inspection.
• Maintain electronic systems including onboard entertainment.
• Repair and maintain parts such as clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
• Complete clear paperwork for customers and centre records.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
