Overview

We are a well-established design/build industrial refrigeration contractor actively searching for an experienced Ammonia Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician to add to our team.

Primary responsibilities

• Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to ammonia and other industrial refrigeration systems


• Diagnostics and repair of electrical control systems and components


• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration equipment (compressors, pumps, evaporators, condensers, valves, and controls)


• Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and systems


• Good customer service skills


• Ability to work independently


• Some travel required (You will be home more than 80% of the time)


• Willing to travel as needed


• Knowledge of OSHA and industry safety requirements


• High potential for advancement for the right candidate


• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

• Experience working with Ammonia and industrial refrigeration systems


• Universal EPA certification


• Strong work ethic and leadership capabilities


• Ability to use hand tools and power tools


• Good with electric and controls troubleshooting


• Be reliable and on time


• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record
