Service Technician

Are you a qualified HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with one of the big six truck manufacturers in the UK?

Do you have previous experience working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment?

Here at MAN Truck & Bus, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our depot in Stockton on a full-time, permanent basis.

We would like to hear from you if you have worked in a similar environment and understand the intricate workings of large commercial vehicles.

For a limited time, anyone joining the organization in a Technician position who successfully passes their probation will be entitled to a £2,500 joining bonus.

Some of the activities involved in this role include, but are not limited to:

1. Interpreting instructions from the job card/repair order and complying with repair instructions.
2. Attending training sessions and staying updated with the latest technical information.
3. Accurately reporting and recording work performed and tests carried out, including immediate reporting of any further work needed or vehicle faults.
4. Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
5. Providing information, maintaining records, and performing all duties accurately, efficiently, and promptly.
6. Enhancing the company's image and reputation while supporting its commercial interests.
7. Working well as part of a small team, being a good communicator, and managing various workloads, planned or otherwise.
