Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a service technician to calibrate and service equipment, ensuring it meets safety and quality standards. The role involves on-site work, occasional driving duties, and maintaining thorough records of service activities.

Ideal candidates have a technical background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet customer requirements. A valid UK manual driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be detail‑minded to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Able to work independently to meet deadlines and customer needs.
• Hold a valid UK manual driving license.
• Experience in a technical field preferred.
• Basic computer literacy; Word and Excel helpful.
• Experience in a hire equipment environment desirable.
• Experience servicing and maintaining equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Performing inspection, repair and servicing and maintenance of equipment, including the removal of obsolete labels and decals.
• Attending customer sites to complete servicing and calibrations when required.
• Occasionally carrying out LCV driver duties.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness functionality and compliance.

What will you be doing?

What are we looking for?
