Job summary

KPI People Ltd in Nottingham seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy franchised dealership. Basic salary £36,000 with an uncapped OTE of £46,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. The role offers a clear progression path, modern workshop and manufacturer accreditation training.

You will service and repair to Manufacturer standards, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, carry out MOTs (if qualified) and contribute to a high‑quality service experience at a high‑volume site.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Full and Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Own tools.

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
• Warranty Repairs.
• News Car PDI’s and Used Car Multi Point Checks
• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Warranty Repairs
• News Car PDI’s and Used Car Multi Point Checks
• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training
• Full and Clean UK Driving Licence
• Own Tools

Desirable Requirements:

• Manufacturer Accreditations
• EV/Hybrid Accreditation
• MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.

Salary, OTE & Working Hours:

• Basic salary of £36,000 depending on experience and qualifications
• Uncapped OTE of £46,000
• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
• Saturday mornings on a rota
