Overview

We\'re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Technician to join our well-established team at our Fyfield branch in Essex. In this hands-on role, you\'ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of agricultural and horticultural equipment sold by our sales departments.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of agricultural and horticultural machinery
  • Performing maintenance, warranty, and chargeable service work
  • Using the latest diagnostic software and tools to support your technical work
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers in a professional manner
  • Working independently and as part of a team to deliver a high standard of service
  • Following health & safety procedures and maintaining workshop standards
Qualifications
  • Experience in the agricultural or horticultural machinery industry (preferred)
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills
  • Physically capable of handling machinery (with tools or assistance where required)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Good general fitness and a professional appearance
Employment Details
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday; 8am to 4pm Friday (1hr unpaid lunch)
  • Overtime: paid at time and a half following the completion of contracted hours
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week
  • Salary: Competitive, depending upon experience, hourly paid, plus company vehicle and mobile phone for business use
  • Bonus: Annual profit related bonus
