Job Summary

Bedard Bros Auto Sales is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team of professionals. The primary responsibilities of the Service Technician include performing repairs, maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on automobiles in accordance with the company’s quality standards. The Technician will work both independently and under the guidance of the Bedard Bros Auto Sales Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $17 to $39 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle components, systems, and parts (electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, brakes, tune-up, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Test and diagnose vehicle systems using computerized and other diagnostic tools.
• Replenish vehicle fluids such as transmission oil, engine oil, brake fluid, and antifreeze as prescribed.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles to ensure they meet Bedard Bros Auto Sales standards.
• Maintain records and logs for research, parts, and services provided.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on vehicles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a Service Technician is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to use electronic/computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues efficiently and accurately.
• Knowledge of proper maintenance, repair, and operation of motor vehicles.
