Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to build a rewarding career in the pump industry? Join Sykes Group, part of the global Atlas Copco Group, as a Service Technician and play a key role in supporting our Aftermarket Service team.

About the Role

We're looking for a Service Technician to service, repair and test surface dewatering pumps and related equipment. Based in our Cardiff workshop, you'll make sure our pumps are safe, reliable, and ready for tough conditions in mining, construction, and industry.

What You'll Do

• Service and repair pumps and equipment.
• Carry out inspections, troubleshooting and testing.
• Complete service reports and work orders accurately.
• Use tools and lifting equipment safely.
• Assist with field service work when required.
• Keep the workshop safe, clean and organised.

What You'll Bring

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
• Experience with pumps, rotating equipment or heavy machinery.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical know-how.
• Team focus, clear communication, and commitment to safety.
