Job summary

Vanderlande, operating at a Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, seeks a Service Technician to maintain installations, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults. You will work shifts, including nights, and support a safe, productive warehouse environment.

A DBS check is required, with priority given to candidates from FMCG or automated settings and a focus on continued career progression.

Qualifications

• As a Service Technician you must have City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or above in maintenance mechanical or electrical.
• Be willing to work shifts including nights and be capable of maintenance planning.
• DBS check is required due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure top condition of the various installations within the line.
• Perform malfunction and maintenance work including preventive and periodic tasks.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and control faults in collaboration with colleagues.
