Service Team Manager – Mental Health Team

Location: Hybrid (home and office) - Bupa Place, Salford Quays

Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £35,000 per annum + Fantastic benefits

Role Overview

As a Service Team Manager, you will lead and support our Remote Mental Health service, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective support for Bupa corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Oversee a team of Remote Counsellors, Remote CBT Psychotherapists and Psychologists , fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
  • Leadership: Develop and coach front-line employees to deliver exceptional service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review demand, understand customer needs, and implement process improvements.
  • Performance Management: Address performance issues promptly and fairly, ensuring development plans are followed.
  • Training: Mentor staff on new processes and systems, providing one-on-one training to ensure best practices.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage punctuality and absence to maximize available resources consistently.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience managing front-line employees in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience managing teams within a Mental Health setting.
  • Strong product knowledge (internal).
  • Understanding of continuous improvement principles/QMS.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
