Job summary

Rentokil Initial in Edinburgh is seeking a Service Support Operative to join our team at the Edinburgh branch. You will support the Service Manager to ensure the service in our Warehouse runs smoothly, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri (40 hours) with potential to increase hours; base salary £26,655 per annum and OTE £27,500 with bonus/commission. A relocation package up to £5,000 is available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Organised, self-motivated and reliable.
• Clear and confident communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use own initiative and have a positive 'can do' attitude.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer stock for route delivery, ensuring everything is ready to go.
• Assisting drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Working closely with drivers and management to meet customer needs.
• Packing, sorting and segregating mats, rolls, sanitary bins and other customer items.
• Maintain an orderly work area to ensure smooth Service Centre operations.
• Always aiming to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
• Stock Control.

The Service Support Operative Role
