Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Service Support Manager for a mobile role across Peterborough and Northampton areas. The role oversees cleaning services at multiple retailer sites, requires a UK driving licence, and involves wage administration, HR queries, and site audits.

You will lead a mobile cleaning operation, cover holidays and sickness, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HR, and QHSE standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing large teams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK clean driving licence (company car provided).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with contract clients and conduct audit inspections.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and cleaning specifications.
• Manage daily employee wages and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Follow statutory Fire and Safety regulations to mitigate risks.
• Ensure service delivery across multiple contracts aligns with company policies and procedures (HR, QHSE, RTW, Vetting, Compliance).

ROLE: Service Support Manager

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours,

LOCATION: Peterborough, Northampton areas - Mobile role with multiple sites

This role is managing around 65 retails site in the PE/NN post code. The role is not office based so it is essential to hold a UK Drivers licence (company vehicle provided). Specifically, the role is managing the cleaning service at various retailers, including Boots, Superdrug, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide Building Society, Decathelon & Reed Recruitment.

As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all sites are cleaned - This will involve utilise a mobile cleaning op but also, working with local resource to cover holidays / sickness.

You will also ensure all staff are paid correctly using our in-house system and handle any HR queries as they arise. All contract must be audited within a prescribed period

Your Main Duties Will Include
