Job description

We are working with a small, family-run business based in West Oxfordshire, who are looking for a full-time Service & Support Engineer to join their friendly team.

As part of the service team, you will be supporting customers and colleagues through a varied and rewarding range of tasks - both in the field and in their workshop.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Attending customer appointments for equipment servicing, breakdowns, repairs, and part fittings
  2. Providing technical support to consultants in the workshop
  3. Assisting with general workshop duties and maintenance
  4. Conducting assessments for new equipment with customers
  5. Giving clear, accurate, and appropriate advice and recommendations
  6. Ensuring timely follow-up through quotes and communication after assessments
  7. Maintaining up-to-date records of customer orders and ensuring all work is invoiced accurately
  8. Responding to customer and colleague queries with professionalism and efficiency
  9. Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks as needed
