Job description

Join us as a Service Support Co-ordinator (Control Room and Building Support) at Thirteen Group!

Role Overview

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Service Support Co-ordinator to join our Building Support team based at our state-of-the-art control room at our Hudson Quay office in Middlesbrough.

You’ll work on an ad-hoc 2-week rota to cover any gaps across our Control Room and Building Support Operative functions, to ensure that our service runs smoothly for our customers in high rise and communal buildings.

Our service can operate 24/7 and 365 days of the year, so you’ll work some night shifts and weekends. Any enhanced shifts are paid at a premium rate of time and a half on Sundays and bank holidays, and double time for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a fantastic role for a problem solver as you’ll coordinate colleagues and find solutions to operational issues when they arise. You’ll ensure that our customers are safe and happy, to enable them to sustain their tenancies
  • Utilise all control room equipment, systems and technology provided to assist with scheduling work productively and gathering business intelligence
  • Ensure that service standards are being adhered to and that we remain compliant with all legislation. This includes SIA Licence requirements, surveillance, health and safety, GDPR and IT
  • Check that all security, fire safety, reporting and inspections are undertaken in a professional, competent and safe manner
  • Through your exceptional customer service and support, you’ll contribute to our service’s success through achieving our key performance indicators and delivering on customer satisfaction targets

About You

  • A multitasker who can accurately record information and can utilise all control room equipment, systems and technology to assist with co-ordinating colleagues and their workload
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service. You’ll have great communication and attention to detail
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience with the use and management of CCTV/security systems (including fire alarms). You’ll also hold or be willing to work towards achieving your SIA licence
  • Someone who remains professional in crisis or an emergency situation and can provide resolution to operational issues
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
