Service Sales Specialist - London & South East

This position reports to: Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within London and the southeast of England. Your focus will be on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio, including Low and Medium voltage solutions (up to 33kV). You will build long-term customer relationships and respond promptly to customer needs and issues. The work model is remote with travel to customer and ABB sites. You will contribute to the Electrification service division sales team in London and South East of England, primarily engaging with end users.

  • Penetrate IB, promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions benefiting customers and ABB.
  • Understand channel strategy, establish pricing, prepare and review sales plans, and propose recovery plans when needed.
  • Generate service sales leads and explore new market opportunities based on market trends and potential new service portfolios.
  • Represent ABB's service products during marketing activities such as campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings. Solutions include Service Agreements, Installation and Commissioning, Spares, Maintenance and Repair, Extensions, Upgrades and Retrofits, Advisory Services, and Digital solutions.
Qualifications for the role
  • Experience in the Electrification Industry and supporting and selling solutions to end users across industries such as Food and Beverage, Utilities, Power Stations, Data Centres, and Petrochemical sectors.
  • Strong sales and marketing experience within the Electrification Industry or similar fields.
  • Background in sales, marketing, and communications.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • UK full clean driving license.
