Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of industrial solutions including loading bay solutions and industrial doors. With a competitive package that includes a strong basic salary, uncapped commission potential, and other company benefits, this is a great opportunity for a service sales professional looking to work in a niche sector.

Responsibilities

  • Managing an existing client base across the UK with a focus on the Midlands and the South East.
  • Developing this client base further through the sale of their service portfolio for industrial doors, safety barriers, loading bay locks, and docking solutions.
  • Driving service contract renewals to maintain a high level of renewals supporting customer retention.
  • Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations.
  • Providing technical knowledge to customers.

Requirements

The company prefers a technical sales-focused individual from the industrial door/loading bays, material handling, capital equipment, or racking & storage industries, but this is not essential. They are open to speaking to candidates from other sectors related to industrial doors or docking equipment or simply an individual from another technical sales sector looking for a change. Crucially, you will be a dynamic individual with the drive and ability to manage existing accounts and spot new opportunities. Ideally, you will reside along the M1 Corridor between Leicester and North London, but they are open to candidates slightly further afield.

A provider of various technical products into the industrial sector, our client supplies industrial doors, docking solutions, and other products including machine guarding and safety systems. Having been established for over 40 years, they have a strong presence both in the UK and globally, and due to recent expansion, are looking for a new Service Sales Representative to develop the business across the Midlands and the South East.
