As an important part of meeting this growing demand, an Inside Sales role will assume responsibility for managing and growing their assigned accounts. Representative works directly with customers to provide service proposals, follow up on prospect inquiries, and upselling. Role is responsible for the promotion and sales of Vertiv’s current service offerings to customers through building relationships and generating new business. The Inside Sales position for services offers a generous commission structure as well as much exposure to the business, providing the potential for many outlets of career growth at Vertiv.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are now looking for an Internal Salesperson to join our team in United Kingdom! Experience is not necessary, we are happy to support and train people, but they must be willing to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in sales and progress, or it could be a great position for a university graduate just starting out and wanting to make a career in sales or someone who just fancies a change.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of the company's sales strategy and programs within Vertiv Infrastructure Limited, for our Thermal Management & Generator Switchgear Service Non-Contract Sales Business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focusing on Thermal (Cooling) & Generator Switchgear Non-Contract service sales opportunities.
  • To identify and secure new customer time & material works within the Thermal Management (Cooling) & Generator Switchgear Services side of the business, by promoting Vertiv Infrastructure Limited products and services.
  • Review engineers reports daily, create a WIP file and Quotation based on the engineer’s findings.
  • To develop existing customers by increasing their awareness of Vertiv Infrastructure Limited abilities to maintain existing business and grow additional business opportunities.
  • Assist and support both current and potential customers.
  • Support, manage and assist others in the Sales team service sales teams.
  • Support the Area Sales Managers when requested.
  • Ensure quotation requests are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop integration and co-operation between all sales divisions within Vertiv Infrastructure Limited.
  • Report and forecast your orders weekly and monthly.
  • Ensure all works sold are managed affectively within budget and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure operational procedures for UK service are always adhered to.
  • As a User, comply with the Company's ITC policy.
  • Ensure all opportunities are logged on Oracle Sales Cloud correctly, update your leads weekly.
  • Liaison by telephone with internal and external customers, suppliers etc.
  • Proactive liaison and negotiation with customers regarding follow up of outstanding quotations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This is an office-based role, for a candidate close to our office in Bedford/ Warrington.
  • Willing to learn about our Vertiv offerings.
  • A basic understanding of the business-critical applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Literate, Oracle experience would be a benefit.
  • Experience in the role is not necessary but you mut be willing to learn and attend training courses.
  • Valid Driving License or local to the office.
  • Must be a Team player.
  • Motivated, Organized, and able to prioritize your daily work activities.
