Job Title: Service Reception Manager

Location: Finchley/Wood Green area in North London

Our client, a well-established and successful family-owned Motor Dealer Group, has been delivering the highest levels of customer service to its customers since 1972. They are offering an exciting career opportunity for a Service Reception Manager.

This position would suit a Senior Service Advisor looking for the next step in their career.

Salary: £35,000 plus commission based on departmental budgeted labour sales.

Additional Benefits: Company car

Hours of Work: 8:00am to 6:00pm, one Saturday in four on a rota basis 9:00am to 1:00pm

Job Purpose: Controls and manages the daily function of the Service Reception and Administration areas.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  1. Proven record of success and excellent leadership experience in managing and developing a team of people.
  2. Must be able to demonstrate very high customer handling skills and offer suitable options to customers to surpass their needs.
  3. Computer literate with a good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit both staff and customers.
  5. Responsible for the team in a Service Reception environment, including recruitment, retention, and motivation.
  6. Highly organized to ensure that all Company and manufacturer's disciplines, procedures, and reporting analysis are strictly adhered to.
  7. Problem-solving skills and good time management skills.
  8. A great communicator with a flexible and adaptable character, highly motivated with good relationship building skills, must be patient yet persistent.
  9. Experience working within a target-driven environment.
  10. Full UK driving licence is essential.
