Job summary

ABB UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Electrification Service projects, ensuring activities align with procedures, regulations, and targets. You will guide the project team to meet requirements, deliverables, and committed results.

You will oversee execution, risk management, and client acceptance, while collaborating across functions to optimize performance and safety. A driving licence and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise (10+ years) in project management within electrical service projects.
• Strong technical proficiency with project management tools and SAP.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project execution, establishing the approach and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources.
• Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks; pursue opportunities.
• Drive formal acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement in line with the contract.

Job Summary

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role,you’llhelp run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

• Leading the project execution, establishing the approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the Role

• Proven expertise (10 years+) within project management, with experience in electrical service projects.Relevant qualifications such as PMP would be advantageous.
• Strong technical proficiency with project management tools and SAP systems.
• You are passionate about improving customer satisfaction and managing work safely. IOSH certification would be advantageous.
• A degree or industry certifications in electrical engineering would also be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with fluent in English, written and spoken.
• You holda validUK driving license.
