Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Technical and Commercial Planning

The Service department with headquarters in Warrington, UK, is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind turbines in the UK. The department fosters an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are key to success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and inspiring environment within a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule service and corrective orders, providing technical solutions for technicians
• Define resources needed for service orders, e.g., competencies, materials, and tools
• Apply technical solution procedures and create technical work instructions
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders (service technicians, back office, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement in the planning process, including structure, process, and strategic long-term planning
• Support Service Process Development and handle ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant area (e.g., engineering or technical field)
• Preferably several years of work experience in a technical environment or as wind turbine technicians/senior engineers (mechanical or electrical)
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Good IT skills (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
