North Hertfordshire District Council seeks a data and performance analyst to support service delivery across the council. You will analyse performance information, identify trends and produce reports and dashboards to inform decisions.
Experience with performance reporting tools (Power BI advantageous) and a good understanding of data quality and process improvement are essential. Hybrid working and job-share options are available.
Salary: £33,637 - £37,987 per annum (pro rata for part time) dependent on experience
You will have experience of working in a performance, project, business improvement or operational role, with a strong understanding of how data, systems and processes can support effective service delivery. You will be confident in analysing performance information, identifying trends and producing meaningful reports and dashboards to support decision-making and service improvement. Experience of using performance reporting tools, such as Power BI or similar systems, would be advantageous.
You will bring experience of delivering projects and managing change, working collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and software providers to improve systems and services. A good understanding of business systems, data quality and process improvement is essential, together with experience of working with waste management systems and supporting system integrations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Knowledge of financial processes, including reconciliation and income monitoring, particularly within operational services, would be advantageous. Knowledge of GIS mapping and digital self-service platforms would also be advantageous. Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills are key, together with the ability to work effectively within a job-share arrangement and also the wider team.
