We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Service & PDI Technician to join the existing team here at our Esher branch, based in Surrey.

Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair, assembly and maintenance of all equipment associated with Horticultural machinery that is sold by the company’s sales departments. This role will be solely workshop based.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Repair, assembly and maintain equipment for customers associated with Horticultural machinery
• Diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs and service work
• Good knowledge of Utility, Garden and small Agricultural machinery
• Knowledge of Domestic or Professional Grass Machinery and how it functions is advantageous
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software
• Have the ability to work alone using own initiative and as part of a team
• Heavy lifting but apply common sense to items that require assistance
• Good communication skills
• Competent in the use of computers
• Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
• Be self-motivated
• Full driver’s licence
  
  

Additional Information

• Start Date: Immediate, but subject successful candidates notice period
• Hours: 42.5hrs per week – 7:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half
• Salary:
