Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Service Owner: Grant Management to strategically develop and implement software products for research grants management at the University of Cambridge. This role is within the Research Data & Digital Services department, and will lead the continuous evolution and improvement of the university's research administration systems, such as WorkTribe, to uphold our position as a leading research-intensive academic institution.

About You

The post holder will need significant experience in service ownership within a higher education environment, with a clear understanding of the organisational culture of a large, research-intensive university. They will possess expertise in taking a holistic, portfolio view of services, managing them end-to-end to align with specific business outcomes. This includes responsibility for the strategic roadmap, performance, user satisfaction, and seamless integration with other university systems. The role is integral to the "Transforming Research Services" initiative.

The post requires experience in strategic project management and planning, alongside excellent communication skills and an ability to build professional relationships and establish credibility with key stakeholders across the University.
