Service Operations Planner

Working Hours: 15 hours per week
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Service Operations Planner to contribute to the growth and success of our Service department. The successful candidate will facilitate the service contract delivery process from enquiry through to supply and invoice, ensuring efficient management of resources to support customer needs.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Schedule service visits using the service diary and communicate with Service Engineers.
  • Record and monitor consumable and chemical usage to ensure timely availability and payment.
  • Liaise with credit control and sales engineers to manage activities and protect working relationships.
  • Report daily on further actions and customer updates.
  • Brief Service Engineers and ensure correct reporting.
  • Undertake root cause analysis and recommend continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate reactive customer visits, including 24-hour priority response, commissioning, survey, and audit requests.
  • Follow business processes consistently and suggest improvements.

  • Familiarity with scheduling workloads, balancing capacity and demand.
  • Experience working under pressure with excellent organization skills.
