Job summary

Joining Careers Education seeks an experienced Registered Manager to lead six Supported Accommodation homes for 16-17-year-olds. You will shape service delivery, oversee registration, and drive quality, safeguarding, and outcomes.

Based in the Midlands, you will work with Deputy Managers and the Senior Leadership Team to build a strong culture, ensure compliance with England regulations, and prepare for inspections.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with looked-after children or vulnerable young people.
• Previous management experience within Supported Accommodation or similar settings.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of six supported accommodation homes.
• Oversee registration and compliance with England regulations and Ofsted.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of young people.
• Develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred support for independence.
• Supervise and develop Deputy Managers and staff.
• Lead recruitment and staff development.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
• Engage with authorities and partners.
• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement.
