A leading health organization in St Albans is seeking a Service Manager to oversee NHS Talking Therapies services and ensure high-quality care delivery. Responsibilities include leading service developments, operational performance, and compliance with standards in the mental health sector. The ideal candidate will have management experience in healthcare and a strong background in strategic direction. Competitive salary between £66,653 and £77,094 annually.
The Service Manager is responsible to the Head of Services for ensuring the successful delivery of key service developments and operational performance that support the development of effective high quality Care Pathways. Working closely with operational management colleagues and colleagues in corporate services. As a member of the Divisional Core Leadership team the Service Manager will play a leadership role in implementing the Division's strategic goals and objectives. The Service Manager implements agreed plans focused on Divisional priorities that ensure service user safety and adherence to quality standards. They will have operational responsibility for an area of health and social care services within the Division. As a senior manager the Service Manager will operate within the guidance and direction of the Head of Services. The Service Manager will work closely with the senior management teams of other Divisions to ensure the effective co-ordination and operational delivery of Health & Social care services in HPFT.
The main focus of the role will be in leading and developing services within the NHS Talking Therapies Services, as well as contributing to the overall strategic direction and delivery of adult mental health services within the county as a whole, across the full adult pathway.
Maintain high quality primary care mental health services for people of all adult age while implementing a programme of change.
You will support the delivery of services taking account of the Trusts transformation agenda ensuring a cohesive, effective and seamless service is provided for service users.
Support the delivery of effective services for the Division, working on a whole systems basis to achieve required levels of performance.
Work with key stakeholders to engage them in developing the Division's strategic direction and participating fully in the priorities and work programmes.
