About you:

You'll focus on our customers; be self-motivated, organised and be able to inspire and mentor our team of Service Technicians. You will need:

  • A recognised qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanics
  • Proven diagnostic experience with strong electronics and hydraulics knowledge
  • A background in agricultural tractors and machinery
  • Good communication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
  • To understand and manage customer expectations.
  • Strong head for numbers and be able to deliver accurate administration
  • A good level of physical fitness as there is some heavy lifting involved.
  • Commercially focused to drive profit and the success of the service department
  • Previous experience in leading a technical team

About the role:

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Power Farming Otago branch. You will partner with the Dealer Principal to:

  • Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow management
  • Provide dedicated mentorship to our service team, with special attention to apprentice development
  • Develop, communicate and monitor process and workflow within the service department.
  • Ensure all work orders and jobs are completed on time.
